little surfing prodigy
Apparently, my child has been receiving secret surfing lessons. Either that, or the fact that she was conceived in California is showing up in her genome. Or perhaps she is remembering a past life as a wave-catcher. Honestly, I’ve never exposed her to any surfing, in movies or books, that I know of. Maybe she saw it at school? Maybe she remembers the day we spent on Malibu beach when she was six months old?
A boogie board washed up on shore while we were at the beach yesterday, and she commenced to paddle out, jump on, and try to catch a wave and ride it in. Seriously, where did this come from?
Also very cute, her interaction with her new little friend Elizabeth (my playground mom friend’s daughter). She gave her a hug, and Elizabeth gave her a peck on the lips! M was flabbergasted and bashful.
Kids really are too cute, sometimes.
