omg we’re dyyyyying
That’s kind of a dramatic title, but being stuck inside all day with my lovely daughter is kind of the pits. I spent the first day of 2016 at home, without going out! This is extremely rare for us. But it wasn’t exactly “fun”. We are both restless and bored inside our four walls.
Thankfully, preschool is starting again! So M will be more tired at night, thank god. She will have someone else to play with, other kids her own age, and be able to play outside with them, too. I know I’m not always the best company for her (or vice-versa). Swimming lessons also begin (twice a week this time) and gymnastics. Yay for lots of stuff to do! And yay for some stimulation for my kid, who without it is bouncing off the walls, being physically rough, sassy, and generally obnoxious. We need a trip so that her angelic side can come back out! And so that she can stop staying up until after 10 and waking up at 5am.
I’m also trying to plan a getaway for the end of February. Conveniently, so is everyone else, so prices to Mexico and such are pretty high. I have some relatives who invited me to stay with them in Hawaii… and I’m more and more tempted as the days go by.
